Film Apple desarrolla un iPhone LTE

Film Durante CTIA la tecnología 4G vía Long Term Evolution (LTE) ha tomado vuelo, con anuncios de dos equipos que vendrán con esta tecnología: el HTC EVO y el Samsung r-900, y algunas informaciones hoy han indicado que Apple podría integrar LTE a sus equipos.

En un aviso de búsqueda de profesionales en el sitio de empleos de Apple se requiere una persona para el puesto de "gerente de tecnología celular", quien, entre otras cosas debe tener "expertos conocimientos de una o múltiples tecnlogías celulares: WCDMA/UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+, LTE".

¿Será el iPhone 4G en realidad un iPhone con tecnología 4G? Lo más probable es que lleve sí o sí ese nombre ya que es la cuarta generación de iPhone, sin embargo, no parece que vaya a integrar LTE pronto.

Esto porque aún hay muy pocas operadoras que ofrecen redes LTE como para que el servicio funcione decentemente… así que probablemente habrá que esperar hasta 2011 para ver un iPhone LTE.

I've been testing the Pre for a couple of weeks, and I like it a lot, despite some important drawbacks that will have to be remedied.'

'All in all, I believe the Pre is a smart, sophisticated product that will have particular appeal for those who want a physical keyboard. It is thoughtfully designed, works well and could give the iPhone and BlackBerry strong competition -- but only if it fixes its app store and can attract third-party developers.'
